I appreciate the similarities our languages have (I'm Mexican). I began picking up Brazilian Portuguese from watching Brazilian cooking videos because I love cooking and I am curious about Brazilian culture and their gastronomy. Then I play Max Payne 3 which also added to it weirdly enough lol. Unfortunately Portuguese has many words and sounds that we don't have in Spanish that I plan to work on. Especially because I had some Brazilian customers visit my job once. At least the guy guiding them through was a Mexican, but even he admitted he doesn't understand them either.
